MOHEGAN SUN

UNCASVILLE, CT — In late 2011, Mohegan Sun entered into an agreement with Bally Technologies, Inc. to install their new iView™ and iView Display Manager™ (DM) for a Memorial Day 2012 launch. Team members from the Hartmann Group–casino resort development experts– led the planning process and oversaw this remarkable project.

The new programming and hardware was installed on nearly 6,000 machines property-wide and provided a one-of-a-kind gaming environment with real-time, point-of-play rewards and promotions. “From installation to operation, the conversion project spanned five months,” said the Hartmann Group’s Vice President of Casino Operations, Frank Neborsky. Over 25,000 man hours went into this conversion from the slot team alone and over 5 ½ miles of fiber-optic wire was run for the project, which is equivalent to around 44 city blocks or 11,000 steps.

Neborsky added, “With the second largest slot floor in the United States housing three casino and nearly 6,000 slot machines, it was a tremendous effort, managing the various departments needed to accomplish this project on an incredibly aggressive timeline.”
